1. Service

Quick & Steady Courier ("we", "us") provides same-day courier and delivery services within our coverage area. By placing a booking you ("the customer") accept these terms.

2. Quotes & payment

Prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT at the prevailing rate. The quoted total is calculated from vehicle base rate, distance, service level and any waiting time. Payment is taken at the time of booking via our payment processor (Stripe).

3. Cancellations

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge while they are in pending or confirmed status. Bookings that have been picked up or are already in transit cannot be cancelled.

4. Prohibited items

We do not carry: cash, firearms, hazardous chemicals, illegal substances, live animals, perishables requiring refrigeration, or items exceeding the stated vehicle weight limit. We reserve the right to refuse carriage.

5. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage in transit is limited to £100 per consignment unless additional cover is agreed in writing in advance. We are not liable for consequential losses or delays caused by traffic, weather or events outside our reasonable control.

6. Customer obligations

The customer is responsible for accurate addresses, contact details, packaging, and ensuring someone is available at pickup and delivery. Additional waiting time is charged at the published rate.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
